Data requests
Your Data.Your Control.
WEB4 gives you controls for managing projects, published sites, and connected domains. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account, subject to applicable law and necessary record-retention requirements.
Last updated: October 2026
What you can do yourself
While you are signed in, you can:
- Delete a project from My Projects. That removes the project from your account.
- Unpublish a live site in the editor, so it is no longer publicly available at its WEB4 address.
- Disconnect a custom domain from WEB4. Disconnecting it does not cancel the domain registration at your registrar.
- Sign out, which ends the session in this browser.
If you want a published site or connected custom domain removed, unpublish the site and disconnect the domain before deleting the associated project.
What you can request
You may request that WEB4:
- provide information about personal data associated with your account
- correct inaccurate account information
- delete eligible personal information
- delete or remove eligible account or project data
- answer questions about how your information is used
- close your WEB4 account where supported and legally permitted
Some requests may be subject to verification, legal exceptions, or record-retention requirements.
How to send a request
To submit a privacy request, email support@getweb4.com, or use the method listed on our Contact page. Please contact us from the email associated with your WEB4 account where possible.
Include:
- the email address on the account
- the type of request: access, correction, deletion, or another privacy question
- the relevant project, site, or domain, if the request is about one
- enough information to identify the account or data involved
For security, WEB4 may need to verify that you control the account or email associated with the request before acting on it.
What can be changed or deleted
Depending on the request and applicable law, WEB4 may be able to correct or delete account information, project data, uploaded files, published-site data, and custom-domain connections.
Some information may need to be retained for legitimate purposes such as completing transactions, maintaining accounting records, preventing fraud or abuse, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, or complying with legal obligations.
Third-party providers
Information processed by third-party service providers, including sign-in, payment, and AI or transcription providers, may also be subject to those providers' retention requirements and privacy policies. WEB4 can only act on information that WEB4 controls.
Response timing
WEB4 will process verified privacy requests within the time required by applicable law. Complex or unusually broad requests may require additional time where permitted.
Retention
Deletion requests do not necessarily require deletion of every record. WEB4 may retain limited information where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, accounting, transaction records, dispute resolution, enforcement of agreements, or compliance with legal obligations.
Privacy request rights
Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may provide additional rights regarding your personal information.
More detail is in the Privacy Policy and on Data Deletion. Questions can also go through the Contact page.
