Data deletion
DeleteYour Data.
WEB4 gives you controls to remove projects, unpublish websites, and disconnect custom domains. You can also request deletion of your WEB4 account and eligible personal information. Some records may need to be retained for security, transaction, accounting, or legal purposes.

Delete a project
While signed in, open My Projects and delete the project you no longer want. Deleting a project removes the project, its associated editable project data, and uploaded files that belong to that project from your account.
If the project is currently published or uses a custom domain, unpublish the site and disconnect the domain before deleting the project.
Remove a published website
To take a WEB4-hosted site offline, use Unpublish in the editor before deleting the associated project. Unpublishing makes the site unavailable at its WEB4 address.
Disconnect a custom domain
To remove a custom domain from WEB4, disconnect it from the project's domain settings. This removes WEB4's connection to the domain but does not cancel or delete the domain registration with your registrar.
Delete your WEB4 account
To request deletion of your WEB4 account, email support@getweb4.com from the email associated with your WEB4 account whenever possible.
Tell us that you are requesting account deletion and include enough information for us to identify the account.
For security, WEB4 may verify that you control the account before completing the request.
Subject to applicable law and necessary retention requirements, account deletion may include eligible account information, remaining private project data, uploaded project assets, published-site data, and custom-domain connections controlled by WEB4.
What may be retained
WEB4 may retain limited records when reasonably necessary for transaction history, accounting, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, enforcement of agreements, or compliance with legal obligations.
Information processed by third-party providers may also remain subject to those providers' own retention requirements.
Deletion requests are processed within the time required by applicable law. Certain information may be retained where permitted or required by law.
Confirmation and related requests
When a self-service action succeeds, WEB4 confirms it in the product. For account-level deletion requests, WEB4 will respond through the email associated with the request.
